is one of the most important tools a teacher must have no matter what age children they work with.  For example, the child that spits!  It takes a special person, with lots of patience to redirect that child and explain why we don't spit on each other.

  1. This is one of the basic characteristic that an early childhood teacher must have. It doesn't come with the education that we get but it comes naturally. It's one of the hardest things to achieve, as well. It's harder for me since I'm trying to teach a foreign language together with some values, relationships... Sometimes I become hopeless when it starts to take much time than I expected to change a behavior. But still I try to be patient because I love them and I want to make differences in their lives and future.

  2. I agree with you on your post about patience. Patience should be a prerequisite before one enters into the field of education.

  3. Patience is definitely a must when working with young children especially children that spit!
